Delivering SNAP
SNAP is being delivered through a framework that involves a wide range of people and organisations.
A Leadership Panel oversees delivery, receiving and reviewing reports on progress and advising on strategic direction. It meets twice each year and is composed of high level representatives of public and voluntary sector organisations. Work is currently taking place to consider how best to involve people whose rights are affected in practice in the Leadership Panel.
Human Rights Action Groups have been established to identify and coordinate delivery of actions in the five key areas that SNAP is working on:
-
Better Culture
-
Better Lives - Health and Social Care
-
Better Lives - Adequate Standard of Living
-
Better Lives - Justice and Safety
-
Better World
A Monitoring Group is developing and overseeing the monitoring, evaluation and measurement framework for SNAP. It is working with each Action Group to identify long, medium and short term outcomes, time-bound targets and indicators to track progress.
